Does Erica die in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2?

Most television shows like to keep its their viewers on their toes. One way of doing that is by delivering shocking twists or worse, deaths. We get so invested in characters that are relatable or just capture your attention, and it’s always so heartbreaking when a favorite of yours gets killed off. That certainly happened in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 with Eddie Munson. This hero will forever be in our hearts.

So much happened in the fourth season, but especially in the finale. It certainly delivered and caused a number of tears. The battle between our Hawkins heroes and Vecna was bound to be a difficult one, but I will tell you that’s the most time I’ve ever cried watching Stranger Things.

Those writers wanted to pull at our heartstrings, and they certainly did. There were five deaths this season. Was one of them Erica Sinclair?

Don’t you worry. Our favorite, little sassy nerd is alive and well! You can’t spell America without Erica, and we most definitely can’t have Stranger Things without Lucas’ incredibly smart younger sister.

She wasn’t in as much of the story like in season 3, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t have an important role to play. She proved her Dungeons and Dragons skills to Eddie in the premiere, helped Dustin, Lucas, and Max get the rest of the Hawkins group back from the Upside Down, and took on the mission at the Creel House in the season 4 finale.

This character caught our attention in the small scenes she was a part of in season 2, and quickly became a fan favorite. Whenever she’s onscreen, I know whatever comes out of her mouth is going to make me laugh. Going into the fifth and final season, I really hope we don’t lose this character!
